A GREAT SUMMER OPPORTUNITY FOR HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH:
HABITAT WEEK
JULY 8-11, T-F
(plus optional half day Sa. 7/12)
This will be here in town--during the day we'll be doing volunteer work at the local Habitat for Humanity construction site, along with a visiting youth group from Northbrook, Illinois. No experience needed; the Habitat staff will teach us what we need to know!
In the evenings we'll gather at St Patrick's for dinner, prayer, talking about the experiences of the day and more.
*MUST HAVE COMPLETED AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL TO PARTICIPATE.

COST: Thanks to a donation from the St. Patrick's Social Action Ministry, the cost will only be about $50-$75 per person (depending on how many participants we get).
We only have 5 -7 spots for students from Iowa City (because of the size of the group from St Norbert's) ... so priority will be based on the order in which people have emailed or talked to me.
